Job Requirements :
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to read, write, and working knowledge of medical terminology.
- Able to perform detailed assignments and work under pressure.
- Possesses communication skills in order to relate to patients, hospital staff, physicians, and others.
- American Heart Association certification in BLS required.
- Basic EKG or arrhythmia recognition course required.
- Computer experience preferred

Assumes responsibility and accountability for performing the nician duties including recognition, interpretation, documentation, and communication of cardiac telemetry rhythm strips.
