POSITION OVERVIEW
As the Accounts Payable Specialist, you will manage the company's payments to vendors, suppliers, and other creditors. This is a critical role to the financial health of a company, as they are responsible for ensuring that all payments are made accurately and on time, while also maintaining strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.

- New Vendor Setup
- AP Aging Report Review
- Annual 1099 Reporting
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting to the Accounting Operations Supervisor, the Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for (but not limited to the following) :
- Input and processing of vendor invoices for multiple entities
- Setup and maintain vendors in accounting system
- Processing and recording of all online payments
- Responds to vendor inquires and resolving invoice discrepancies
- Maintain accurate records, of invoices, payments, and transactions
- Process annual 1099 reporting for multiple entities
- Review AP aging to make sure payments are made timely
- Assist the Accounting Operations Supervisor as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years experience in accounts payable, bookkeeping, or similar position
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Driven by accuracy, integrity, and accountability
- Strong user of MS Office products, especially Outlook and Teams
- Ability to prioritize deliverables and meet deadlines
- Well-organized and high attention to detail
- NetSuite experience a plus
- Demonstrates a history of : Ability to follow process and identify opportunities for improvement Delivering great customer service Making a positive impact, financially, and culturally
