Company
ixana.ai is a Purdue University spinoff, developing nervous system-inspired wearable computing. We have assembled a team of leading experts in the field of IC / system design, embedded software and system design with an appetite for taking on the next big thing.
Come join us in the journey of transforming the future with high-speed human-computer interfaces that amplify your potential with all-day real-time AI.
Why should you be excited?
You have heard of Bluetooth, you have heard of Wi-Fi, Ixana has developed a fundamentally new wireless technology, Wi-R which is 100x lower energy than Bluetooth / Wi-Fi.
Check out ixana.ai for videos on how Wi-R streams high speed data through your skin.
Role Overview
The Senior Hardware Engineer will report to company's Head of Hardware Research, and will assist in research on hardware design with our ultra-low-power body-area-communication ICs.
You'll collaborate with multi-disciplinary collaborators with expertise in microelectronics, wireless communication, electromagnetics and biology.
The key role would be to lead the development of Wi-R based wearables such as smartphones, smartglasses, smartwatches, earbuds and more.
