Responsibilities :
- Case Managing participants who have sustained a neurological birth injury
- Maintain accurate patient participant records
- Provide case management and emotional support to participants and their family members
Qualifications :
- Computer skills needed
- Ability to build rapport with participant's parents and guardians
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Active Florida nursing license
NICA is a statutorily-established program in Florida that manages state funds used to pay for the care of children born with certain neurological injuries.
The program is growing each year there are currently 240 families being served, increasing at a rate of about 15 new families per year.
