Interiors Project Manager

Seeking to hire a Construction Interiors Project Manager to work on an excellent variety of mixed commercial construction projects in Northern Virginia.

This general contractor has an incredibly strong pipeline of Government and Commercial TI projects in Northern Virginia and DC and are looking to hire Project Managers with new construction commercial experience to join them on this journey! This a permanent, long-term career position with a genuine career path to a senior leadership position on offer.

Your new role :

As a Construction Project Manager in their new construction department, you will be site-based working alongside an established and successful field and project management.

You will be reporting into a Project Executive. If you are passionate about people leadership, there is the opportunity here to lead a team.

Depending on schedule, you would likely be leading 3-4 Interior Construction projects at any given time in the range of $1M - $10M.

You will be responsible for running the project management program, working closely with the field management team. Project budget and financial tracking, scheduling, construction documentation, quality control and client POC will all fall under your / PM teams’ responsibility.

You will have the support of APMs and be tasked with developing their skill set into a Project Manager as you help develop this GCs interiors department further.

What you need to succeed :

• 5-10 years of Construction experience working for a commercial construction general contractor.
• Ideally you will have experience in interior or renovation construction projects and can come from within any commercial construction sector.
• A construction related degree such as engineering, architecture or construction management is desired but not essential.
• This is an on-site position on a construction site, likely in the Northern Virginia area so candidates will need to be local and be comfortable to a daily commute.
