About the Role

We are seeking a talented and experienced Technical Project Manager (TPM) to join our team. The ideal candidate has strong leadership abilities and the desire to be part of a fast-growing startup environment where you’ll have the opportunity to guide the development of our portfolio of products.

What You’ll Do :

  • Develop detailed project plans, including milestones, to track progress and timeline.
  • Coordinate internal resources and vendors for project execution (e.g. research, promotional materials development, design tasks, resource data, development, implementation & release, community engagement).
  • Ensure deliverables are completed on time, within scope.
  • Identify risks or barriers and escalate.
  • Manage client request intake in Jira Workflow to be prioritized by team managers (i.e. program, product, content, community engagement).
  • Manage public site feedback (e.g. bugs intake, content request, training information).
  • Analyze and report on site metrics.
  • Coordinate with contractors to manage resource database.
  • Support in writing quarterly deliverable reports to describe site metrics and resource data maintenance efforts.
  • Support meeting facilitation, including taking notes, sending out follow ups and action items.

The Experience You’ll Need :

  • Demonstrated experience in managing software development projects in an Agile environment, especially in facilitating daily stand-up, iteration planning, sprint review, sprint releases, and iteration retrospective.
  • Ability to execute using Jira from planning to executing to review, including time estimating practices for project planning and resourcing, post mortem (Retro) and root cause analysis to help teams continuously improve their practices to ensure maximum productivity.
  • Leads team effort in relentless improvement, defining and implementing improvement stories to increase the velocity and quality of the work.
  • Ability to communicate with management and stakeholders, and protect the team from uncontrolled injection of work.
  • Manage project conflicts, challenges and dynamic business requirements to keep operations running at a high performance level.
  • Ability to work with the team leads in resolving project roadblocks and cross-functional issues.
  • Maintain team data in project management software (i.e. JIRA) to support estimates and execution.
  • Supports product managers with intra-team dynamics with respect to priorities and scope.
  • Manage other special projects as assigned.
  • SCRUM Master experience preferred.

The anticipated base salary for this position is $90,000 to $110,000.

The base salary offered is determined by several factors, including but not limited to the applicant's qualifications, relevant experience, specific skills, level of education, certifications or professional licenses, and geographic location where the job will be performed.

Please note that the compensation details listed in US role postings reflect the base salary only, and do not include any bonus, equity, or benefits.

Total compensation package also includes performance bonus and stock options. Final compensation will vary based on experience and various other factors.
