Parts Inventory Control Clerk

Position Overview :

In this pivotal role, you will manage and maintain our inventory of high-end automotive parts, ensuring that our operations run smoothly and our luxury standards are upheld.

Your keen attention to detail and commitment to precision will be essential in keeping our parts department organized and efficient, reflecting the exceptional service that defines The Collection.

Key Responsibilities :

• Accurately manage and track all parts inventory, ensuring that stock levels are maintained at optimal levels and that all items are properly accounted for in our inventory management system.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections of inventory to ensure that all parts meet the luxury standards of The Collection, identifying any discrepancies and taking corrective action as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of all inventory transactions, including receiving, stocking, issuing, and shipping parts.

Ensure that all data is entered into the inventory management system promptly and accurately.

• Perform regular cycle counts to verify inventory accuracy and resolve any discrepancies, contributing to the overall efficiency and reliability of the parts department.
• Work closely with the parts, service, and sales teams to ensure that all parts are available when needed and that any inventory issues are promptly addressed.
• Continuously identify opportunities to enhance inventory management processes, ensuring that the parts department operates with maximum efficiency and accuracy.
• Liaise with suppliers to manage parts orders, deliveries, and returns, ensuring that all transactions are handled with the precision and professionalism expected in a luxury environment.

Qualifications :

• Previous experience in inventory management or parts control, ideally within a luxury or high-end automotive dealership.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in tracking, managing, and documenting inventory.
• Strong organizational abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Proficient in using inventory management software and other modern technology to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external vendors.

Physical Requirements :

• Ability to lift and carry items up to 50 lbs regularly and to stand, walk, and move throughout the parts department for extended periods.
• Comfortable with frequent bending, stooping, and reaching to access inventory and ensure that all parts are stored and handled with care.
• Skilled in operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and effectively, maintaining the luxury standards of The Collection.

• Operate within an upscale, state-of-the-art dealership setting, where every detail reflects the high standards of The Collection and our clientele.
• Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment that includes both climate-controlled areas and parts storage facilities, with exposure to varying temperatures, noise levels, and physical demands.
• Be prepared for a schedule that may include extended hours, evenings, and weekends to meet the operational needs of our luxury clientele and dealership operations.
