HOW THE ENGINEERING MANAGER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
- Assuming responsibility for the success of the senior technical resources providing engineering and consulting support for customer issues with IT hardware, software, and systems;
- Assisting senior technical resources proactively manage assigned offices / systems by anticipating issues due to system changes, software upgrades, and other environmental changes;
- Assessing plans and recommendations from engineers in order to prioritize work in a roadmap;
- Working with project leadership to ensure support teams maintain program service levels;
Adhering to a formal change control process to ensure agreement on all objectives and tasks; and
Adhering to the quality assurance plan for the program and all task orders.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED :
Education : A bachelor’s degree (or equivalent years of experience) in a relevant field and an ITIL 4 Foundation Certification are required.
Experience : at least eight years of experience providing end-user support services. In addition, the Engineering Manager will have four years of experience managing a large, distributed team;
two years experience managing and configuring ServiceNow. Experience with MDM, UEM, and PowerShell Automation.
Security clearance level : All contract personnel must pass a United States Capitol Police background check and are required to be U.
S. persons ( US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee or asylee ) to be eligible to work on the contract.
Skills and abilities : Experience delivering to white glove’ service standards including serving a large VIP population using strong interpersonal skills, diplomacy, and tact.
Ability to work atypical hours.
