Forklift Operator/Warehouse Associate Needed

Our client in the food industry is seeking a Forklift Operator / Warehouse Associate to join their team. As a Forklift Operator / Warehouse Associate, you will be part of the warehouse team supporting the production process.

The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Job Title : Forklift Operator / Warehouse Associate NeededLocation : Highland and Poughkeepsie, NYPay Range : $17- 18 per hourShift : Monday-Thursday 6am to 4 : 30pm or Monday-Friday- 8am-4pmWhat's the Job?

Load and unload trailers with a forklift or other powered, and non-powered equipment.Sort and segregate raw materials weighing from 20 to 100 lbs.

as they are received.Pick a daily requisition order of raw materials for production with items weighing from 20 to 100 lbs.

Unloading and storing finished products properly to provide maximum picking efficiency.Pick, sort and segregate customer orders depending on customer requirements.

This involves lifting items weighing 10 to 55 lbs. repeatedly.What's Needed?Ability to operate a forklift in a safe and capable manner in accordance with the established Industrial Lift Truck Safety Program.

General ability to read and fill out documents (i.e. Daily Requisition, Picking Lists, Inbound Receiving Inspection Report, etc.

Ability to count multi-tiered items. Good general math skills.Ability to communicate with all personnel including usage of phone system and two-way radios.
