We are seeking a Master's Level Clinician who can provide both Behavior Clinician and Mental Health Counseling Services.
Behavior Clinicians work with individuals with disabilities to develop and help implement treatment plans focused on building skills that decrease maladaptive behaviors.
They work with the clients, families, residential staff and other team members. These services are part of what is provided by Indiana Medicaid Waiver coverage.
Mental Health Clinicians provide traditional Counseling Services in the office and online. We welcome those with varying interest and specialty areas, including adults, children, trauma, and much more.
The ideal candidate :
- is a Licensed Master’s Level Clinician (LMHC / LMFT / LCSW) or Master's Level Therapist working toward licensure (our HSPP will provide supervision)
- is interested in working with a range of presenting concerns, including complicated cases and clients (e.g., comorbid diagnoses and personality disorders)
- works well in a team environment
- is interested in supporting a growing organization both when things are easy and when they are hard, and have fun doing it
- embraces diversity in all forms and on all levels, and supports our environmental protective values

Mental Health Counselor Position Overview :
- Perform biopsychosocial assessments of adults, children and / or families
- Formulate and implement comprehensive treatment plans
- Offer consultation to other parties (e.g., family, healthcare provider, other SCI service lines) as needed
- Able to provide in-person counseling (with an option to also provide online counseling)
- Interest in developing and growing your specialty areas and interests
Behavior Clinician Position Overview
- Comfort or interest in providing behavior management to individuals with developmental disabilities
- Develops behavior assessments and support plans
- Provides effective training for intervention implementation
- Collaborates effectively across diverse settings and with various individuals, families and team members
Position Development : A significant part of being a Behavior Clinician and / or Mental Health Counselor is working with SCI as we build your caseload.
Newly-hired Clinicians have the option to remain at part-time status until a full caseload is attained or they may supplement a full-time status by providing other services (ABA, DSP, PAC, etc ) at a lower pay rate.
Furthermore, once you are full-time, you may start to transition to providing only one service (i.e., either Mental Health Counselor OR Behavior Management Clinician).
