DarkHorse Express Solutions is seeking a Warehouse Associate for our location in Ladson, SC.
Job Summary :
Employees are responsible for loading and unloading of freight with the use of a pallet jack and / or forklift in addition to general labor and general warehouse maintenance.
Responsible for all general warehouse labor in a manner that meets company standards for safety, security, and productivity.
Starting payrate : $18.50 / hr - (Monday - Friday)
Summary of Key Responsibilities :
Moves materials and items from receiving or production areas throughout the warehouse or to other designated areas. Helps with receiving, storage, and distributes material, tools, equipment, and products within assigned area.
Experienced in heavy equipment is a plus, must be forklift certified as required to help move to a freight in and out when needed.
May even sweep floors, clean dock area, general good hygiene of entire work area. Assist in receiving cargo by removing from truck by hand, or using powered industrial equipment, such as forklift of similar equipment.
Stocking and places cargo on pallets or shelves, or moves order to packing station or shipping department. Ability to opens crates and other containers.
Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence established by the warehouse.
Qualifications :
- Ability to speak English
- Forklift Certified
- Ability to repeatedly lift 50LBS
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Warehouse experience
- Working with a warehouse management system
- Computer literate
