is seeking a Manufacturing Technology (MT) Electrical and Instrument (E&I) Engineer to join our Belle Site team. This position will report directly to the Manufacturing Technology Manager at our Belle, WV location.
This position provides E&l expertise to support site manufacturing operations and ensures safety, reliability, capability, and productivity of the facilities.
Will participate in commissioning, startups, and troubleshooting and provide off-hours technical assistance.
The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to the following :
Lead in identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving E&I issues to support and improve the efficiency of the manufacturing facilities.
Daily monitoring of electrical and instrument performance in the facility.
Work with plant technical and operational teams to drive continuous improvement efforts related to electrical and instrumentation performance.
Support for new product and technology introductions to the plant, interfacing with others in the company.
Lead the plant Mechanical Integrity and Quality Assurance (MIQA) program for instrument and electrical preventative and predictive programs.
Develop and lead execution of detailed projects covering E&I aspects of manufacturing.
Maintain E&I Documentation (i.e. specifications, design, procedures, etc.)
Develop and maintain Safety Interlock design and procedures (i.e. Functional tests, PFD Calculation, etc.).i
Review SIL assessments and author SIL verifications (PFD calculations)
Part of a team that provides support, as needed across the site for 24 hours a day / 7 day a week operation.
The following is for this role :
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
3-7 years of related experience in Electrical and Instrumentation
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot problems to identify Electrical and instrument related issues.
Demonstrated knowledge of key Process Safety Management (PSM) technology elements such as PHA, Process Technology, Management of Change, Recommended and Generally Accepted Good Engineering Practices (RAGAGEP), Mechanical Integrity, and Quality Assurance
Thorough analytical, problem solving, interpersonal and communication skills with ability to work in both self-managed and team environment.

Manufacturing experience in Chemicals industry
Capital Project planning and execution experience.
Proficient with Microsoft Office
Experience with Process Simulation (Aspen or similar) and Data Historian (IP21 or similar) software
Experience with Honeywell (Experion and TDC3000), Allen Bradley (Control Logix), and Modicon (Quantum and 984)
Experience with Aspen InfoPlus 21 and Aspen Watch
Demonstrated knowledge of Alarm Management
