Job Summary :
The Sales Operations Analyst is responsible for managing the sales operations team by advising and guiding team members to continue to improve performance and processes and to increase cross-functional team collaboration.
The sales operations team's primary objectives include providing field level partnership to the sales & marketing teams, creating & maintaining reporting & analysis in support of the revenue organization and leadership, territory management, and creating process level improvements to enable the team to meet their goals and objectives.
Responsibilities :
- Reporting & Analysis : Provide timely, value-added reports and analysis to the corporate organization.
- Develop and manage product, transaction, ASP reports that will highlight trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Organization & Territory Management : Within the Company's CRM, prepare and maintain the Sales organizational structure, establish and manage Sales territories.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret Sales data to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
- Collaborate with the Sales team to streamline and improve sales processes and workflows.
- Assist in sales forecasting on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis to ensure goals are met.
- Assist with preparation of executive and board presentation materials, lead communications & discussions with upper-level management.
- Monitor and maintain an accurate and up-to-date sales pipeline.
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and monitor sales team performance against targets.
- Create ad-hoc analysis to solve business problems.
Required Skills / Experience :
- Experience with Salesforce.com Sales, Contracts, and CPQ Modules.
- Familiarity with other Sales Operations tools such as 6Sense and Tableau is a plus.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel & PowerPoint.
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to engage and motivate diverse groups of internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong communicator who is able to partner with global Sales leadership and cross-functional personnel to assess needs, provide support, and insight through data analysis.
Education and Experience :
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience focused on Sales Operations, Sales Finance, or related area.
