Job Title : Functional Test Engineer

Location : Alpharetta Georgia / Dallas, TX

Contract Duration : 12+ Months

As a Functional Test Engineer, you will :

Job Description :

• Write test plans and test cases for assigned features and execute test procedures using latest automated tools.
• Experience in API / Microservice Testing
• Knowledge of some automation tool could be Selenium, TOSCA, Java, etc
• Needs to be skilful at opening defects and verifying the defects
• Basic understanding on various testing types for digital applications along with standard tools
• Work across different application and integrated automations scripts to create E2E flows
• Gather and document the outcome of test executions and all information needed to support ongoing measurements and reporting on risks, defects, tests, and coverage.
• Analyse reports discrepancies to determine the root cause and will evaluate script failures at a high level
• Compare and analyse system behavior vs. expected results / KPIs based on business and technical requirements. Identifies issues, propose system improvements, and performs repetitive test execution to resolve identified issues
• Participate and contribute to internal design reviews of testing materials
• Mandatory Skills : Functional Testing (System Testing, System Integration), SQL, Unix, Good Understanding of Agile (Scrum) and DevOps practices along with experience with DevOps Tool Chain Integration, Good knowledge on cloud applications and dB like Kibana, Camunda, Couchbase, GIT, etc.
• Experience working on Jira
• Added Advantage : Telecom / BSS / OSS, Digital Testing, Coding experience in Java / Python, TDD, BDD, experience in some automation test development

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS :

Salary Range* : $50-$52 on W2

Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
