Project Manager 2

Position Summary

Serves as Project Manager for a number of key accounts. As a key facilitator within the supply chain for packaging, you may be communicating with design firms, sales, on-site personnel and / or clients any given day as part of your role.

As a key figure within the process, you will help maintain and improve sgs co’s relationship with our clients. Your primary challenge will be to coordinate comping / sales sample production via job instructions and schedules to complete jobs.

Within sgs co, you will effectively communicate specifications for each piece of packaging artwork on your brands by utilizing our order entry system as well as being a resource for production departments when issues or questions arise.

This is a hybrid role requiring the individual to be in the office multiple days a week.

Essential Responsibilities, Accountabilities & Results

• Manage key accounts.
• Consult with On-Site Personnel and / or Client during the artwork development and pre-press execution
• Work directly with exciting clients (both large and small), salespersons and members of our great operations team to clearly understand and communicate the needs through production
• Establish great professional and working relationships with clients, design firms, and other necessary contacts
• Attend (or leading as required) pre-production meetings
• Respond timely and politely to client and sales needs and questions.
• Participate in process improvement efforts and various production meetings to foster a positive creative impact on our business
• Verify technical supplied data is correct to supplied art
• Manage project timelines and ensure projects are completed accurately and on time
• Report and escalate to management as needed
• Order entry (ensure orders are complete and concise when delivered to production

Educational & Experience Minimum Requirements

This position requires the following knowledge, skills and attributes :

• Great educational background, preferably in the fields of graphics or print management
• Positive can-do attitude our people are our culture
• Be a TEAM player, we succeed together
• years experience as a CSR, Project Coordinator or Project Manager in the graphics, sales sample, or print industry preferred
• Knowledge of Adobe Suite (Acrobat, Illustrator, etc)
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Solid organizational skills and attention to detail
• Full comprehension in reading work instructions and business memos
• Timeliness we respect our teammates by being mindful of them and their time as much as our own
• Ability to work independently after initial training
