$40-$50 / hr to start plus O / T after 40hrs worked.

Position :

At Techo-Bloc, the Maintenance Supervisor is a key and essential member with the responsibility of overseeing our production plants.

As a maintenance professional, you are a champion of safety, training, and preventive, corrective and continuous improvement maintenance interventions.

We are looking for a highly motivated team member with a strong work ethic and a go-getter, self-starter attitude who is constantly looking to challenge the status quo and lead multiple projects that will help further Techo-Bloc's drive to progress and innovate.

Duties / Responsibilities :

Here is a snapshot of your day-to-day :

Delegates work orders and instructions to maintenance staff.

Prepare or stage parts and tools needed for morning maintenance projects.

Validate inventory of spare parts and supplies.

Performs various preventative maintenance tasks and / or repairs to production machinery in an efficient and timely manner.

Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and / or replace mechanical components such as motors, gear boxes, drive chains, sprockets, sheaves, pulleys, rollers, conveyor belts, bearings, and screws.

Monitors down time reports for production machinery and schedules necessary repairs.

Provides daily status reports to management regarding the completion of work orders.

Repair / troubleshoot hydraulic cylinders, valves, solenoids and pumps.

Identify and make hydraulic hoses as needed.

Ability to properly operate band saws, torch, drill presses, grinders and other shop tools.

Troubleshoot using electrical schematics and multimeter / megger to diagnose electrical issues.

Reads and understands wiring diagrams to trace electrical circuits; IO’s, OL’s, contactors, relays, break resisters and various other electrical components.

Familiar with troubleshooting / set up of VFD drives; SEW drives, Siemen, Lenze, Allen Bradley, AB.

Familiar with interference fits and bearing heaters.

Repair, install and dismantle machinery and equipment according to plans which involves working at heights, climbing ladders and using mobile equipment (cranes, forklift, scissor lift, etc.).

Document and perform all preventative maintenance tasks as required to maintain equipment dependability.

Maintain a clean, sanitary and safe work area.

Adheres to all company policies and procedures paying special attention to health and / or safety procedures.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Be available for on call support for the maintenance team. This is a 24 / 7 facility.
