Community Training Specialist Deaf Programs
Direct Care - Relief : Quincy and Braintree, MA
Fluent in American Sign Language
WORK Inc., one of New England’s most progressive providers of services to adults with disabilities is seeking applications for Direct Care positions in one of our residential programs that serves individuals who are deaf.
We welcome applicants with diverse backgrounds and life experience. We are seeking Relief staff that will support individuals served in their own home by promoting independence, while empowering and enhancing their quality of life.
Responsibilities include :
- Assisting clients with completing their hygiene, development of independence, responsibility and self-worth
- Preparing and implementing program goals, individuals’ service plans, treatment plans, etc.
- Developing positive relationships with individuals, families, guardians and service providers
- Assisting clients to obtain appropriate healthcare services and promoting healthy lifestyle choices

The hourly rate is : $14 / hr.
Minimum requirements :
- Fluent in American Sign Language
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Possession of a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
