Description
The VP of Construction is responsible for :
- On site daily - CT job sites
- Oversee a team of Superintendents & their job sites
- Willing to roll up their sleeves / be on their feet
- Overseeing ground-up construction projects
- Leading subs
- Managing people
NOT responsible for :
- Buying out jobs
- Hiring subs
- Scheduling
Profile
The right VP of Construction will have :
- 10+ years of experience working on ground up construction projects
- Understands how to manage people - superintendents, subs, etc.
- Local to the CT area
- Able to commute to the office in Manhattan if needed
- Excellent communication, customer service, and leadership skills
- Knowledge of building construction means and methods, scheduling and cost-control procedures
- Strong organizational and time management skills
