The Opportunity :
Crittenton Children's Center is looking for a Clinical Education Specialist (CES) to serve as a leader and consultant to managers, staff and organizational teams in promoting ongoing professional development of clinical staff.
The CES is a clinical and education expert to evaluate education program and direct education to impact quality patient care.
The CES is a role model change agent and supports clinical staff using evidence based practice and research. The role has system responsibilities to create and manage education related to project implementation along with the onboarding and continued growth of clinical staff.
The CES continues to maintain clinical knowledge of the practice area while supporting staff in the specific areas.
Shift Details : This is a full-time position, requiring one (1) 12-hour shift per week as an RN and 28 hours per week providing Education.
No holidays, no required weekends, no on-call.
The Work :
- Supports and mentors new and experienced staff within the organization
- Create and maintain initial competencies for clinical staff
- Develop and implement annual competencies for clinical staff
- Provides just in time education for clinical needs
- Supports implementation of evidence based practice changes
- Develops and supports clinical leaders within shared governance
- Remains clinical experts within specific practice area
