We are currently looking for a progressive leader to support the growth and success of Slalom’s new Commercial Strategy practice.
This is a new, important, and high-profile role in a company that lives its purpose and values through its 13000+ employees.
This role will provide thought leadership to clients and colleagues, setting strategic direction for Slalom reporting to our head of Commercial Strategy.

Job Title : Commercial Strategy Director
What You Will Do
- Lead Slalom’s supplier management processes including sourcing, contract negotiations, and vendor management.
- Design and implement commercial solutions that are tailored to client needs through : Rate cards, Discounts, Growth Based Incentives, and Shared Savings
- Be an integral part of growing a dynamic area of our business and shape how and where we support
- Lead commercial negotiations that transform our client’s business and see the positive impact that your work has on our clients and Slalom
- Build trusting and collaborative relationships with your internal stakeholders
- Partner with our Global Client Partners, Client Partners other Commercial Strategy Leaders & to architect and design collaborative solutions.
- Provide analytic insights to improve commercial performance (compliance, security, financial, legal / contract, HR, etc.)
- Work with a fun, collaborative team where everyone can be themselves and is provided the opportunity to love their life.
- Lead and / or participate in internal Slalom events or initiatives.

- Strong client facing skills and a successful record of accomplishment of engagement management
- Experience structuring Fixed Price, T&M (Time & Materials), and alternative pricing methodologies
- Commercial business expertise, economics and migration knowledge, skills, and experience
- Experience collaborating across multiple functional / technical teams to deliver client contracts
- Demonstrated leadership managing procurement / sourcing senior executive relationships
- Experience managing client account and project financial targets
- Experience working with internal and external executives in and around transformational programs that incorporate people, processes, and technology
- Demonstrated growth mindset, enthusiastic about learning new businesses quickly and applying the gained knowledge to address client challenges.
- Ability to communicate and partner with various levels within an organization to develop solutions, make decisions and achieve results
- A knack for managing the details, connecting the dots, and identifying scalable solutions
- Ability to travel depending on internal / client needs.

Compensation and Benefits
Slalom prides itself on helping team members thrive in their work and life. Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Base salary pay range for this position is $180,000 to $250,000.
In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors.
The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
