Recognized as one of the fastest growing companies in Tampa Bay and on the Inc. 5000 list of top privately held companies in the country for 10 years, DAS Health is seeking a full-time, IT Procurement Specialist to join our team in the Tampa, FL office!As an IT Procurement Specialist (FLSA non-exempt role), you will be responsible for administering and coordinating activities and processes in the IT procurement function.
This role is responsible for preparing RFI’s and RFPs based on stakeholder and company requirements as well as reviewing contracts, terms, and service level agreements.
Additionally, the IT Procurement Specialist inputs and tracks procurement data and facilitates the planning and coordination of equipment delivery, installations, upgrades, and changes.
Responsibilities : Review procurement items for categorization, coding, pricing, and information accuracy in the items database and request catalog.
Manage daily IT hardware / software requests and issue Purchase Orders, as needed.Place purchase orders and track their status to ensure timely delivery of goods and service.
Utilize tools and systems to communicate and collaborate effectively, while staying extremely organized.Follow each order to ensure all items are received.
Evaluate sourcing requests and ensure completeness.Obtain quotes, compare, and negotiate pricing.Work within multiple email aliases in a high volume of communications and ticketing systems workflow.
Inform stakeholders of PO issuance and any other details regarding order.Cultivate strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
Manage existing vendor partnerships to ensure products and services are provided with competitive pricing and in a timely manner.
Collaborate with other departments such as production, sales, and finance to ensure alignment in procurement and logistics strategies.
Support ad-hoc reporting needs.Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation within the IT procurement function.
Mediate supplier issues and resolve disputes.Basic preparation of hardware configuration.Other duties, as required.Requirements : A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
A bachelor’s degree in business administration, business management, information technology, or a similar field is preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement or a related role is required.Proficiency in Connectwise PSA / CPQ software.
Proficiency in IT hardware configuration.Ability to manage time effectively in a high-paced dynamic environment and capable of prioritizing workload to meet scheduling demands and timelines.
Experience in technology purchasing is preferred.Experience with vendor management is preferred.Strong problem-solving skills with a customer focus.
Understanding of processes and stakeholders within an IT organization.Experience with time and materials / recurring invoicing.
