Smurfit Westrock is currently seeking to employ a passionate and dynamic Senior Payroll Officer to join our team on a full-time basis.
This is an exciting opportunity that give the successful candidate exposure into full Total Rewards activities and Diversity initiatives.
This role is based in North Richmond, NSW, Australia.
- The role will include the following responsibilities;
- Processing multiple end-to-end pay runs using Sage Micropay (weekly & fortnightly cycle runs) as a Stand alone payroll expert.
- Ownership of anncilary payroll systems such as ESS and Time in Attendance
- Processing new starters, payroll adjustments, terminations & redundancies
- Manage the monthly Superannuation contributions
- Monthly & weekly Payroll reconciliations and Maintaining payroll records and data integrity
- Understanding Enterprise Agreements and applicable Awards
- Compensation and Benefits Design
- Diversity Leadership including ERN coordination and reporting obligations
What skills will you have?
- At least 5 years’ experience managing a standalone end-to-end payroll function
- Previous experience in Sage Micropay
- Ability to interpret and understand Enterprise Agreements and applicable Awards
- Intermediate excel skills (vlookup, pivot)
- Attention to detail
