Position Overview :

We are seeking a motivated Software Engineering Intern to join our engineering team. This internship offers a fantastic opportunity for students or recent graduates to gain hands-on experience working on real-world projects, enhancing both frontend and backend development skills.

You will collaborate closely with experienced engineers and other team members to deliver high-quality code and contribute to the development of our products.

Key Responsibilities :

Frontend Development :

• Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of user interfaces using modern web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, or Angular).
• Collaborate with the design team to ensure responsive, accessible, and visually appealing web applications.
• Debug and optimize front-end performance and improve user experience.

Backend Development :

• Support backend development tasks including the creation and maintenance of RESTful APIs, server-side logic, and database management using technologies like Node.js, Python, or Ruby.
• Assist in the integration of third-party services and APIs.
• Work on database design, queries, and optimizations using SQL or NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB).

Collaboration & Learning :

• Work closely with mentors and senior engineers to understand project requirements and contribute to ongoing software projects.
• Participate in code reviews, team meetings, and collaborative development activities.
• Learn and follow best practices in software development, including Agile methodologies, version control (Git), and testing procedures.

Project Contribution :

• Take ownership of specific tasks and deliver features or enhancements under the guidance of the team.
• Provide support in identifying and troubleshooting bugs across the tech stack, and propose solutions for resolution.

Continuous Learning :

• Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies in full stack development.
• Apply theoretical knowledge from coursework to solve practical software engineering problems.

Qualifications :

• Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Understanding of web development fundamentals (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Familiarity with at least one front-end framework (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
• Basic knowledge of backend programming languages such as Node.js, Python, Ruby, or Java.
• Experience with version control systems (Git) and collaboration tools like GitHub.
• Familiarity with databases (SQL or NoSQL).
• Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn and grow.

Coachable & Strategic :

• Willing to listen and adapt based on guidance from LSG
• Able to translate strategic vision into practical actions

Preferred Qualifications :

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure).
• Experience with containerization and DevOps tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Previous internship or project experience in software development.
