Kelly is looking to hire a *Senior Procurement Specialist *for our client in *Salem, MA* and will pay *$100,000-$125,000* for the right person! *Duties & Responsibilities Plan material requirements and place purchase orders in SAP to cover all anticipated material requirements* Maintain inventory flow necessary to maximize production* Expedite component and part shortages to meet customer needs and determine root causes to implement corrective action
- Work with supplies and material planning to establish and implement purchase agreements that increase efficiency in regards to inventory and timely delivery* Research and develop supply sources, consistently improving to achieve 100% on-time delivery and quality* Conduct meetings with suppliers, current and potential, to investigate their ability to provide goods and services that meet requirements / specifications* Communicate KPIs to suppliers to measure performance *Experience & Education 4-10 years of purchasing / supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment* Bachelor's Degree in a business or technical field
- Strong SAP experience
- Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma experience
