Your Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Office Manager to oversee and streamline our day-to-day D.C. office operations. This pivotal role demands a self-starter with strong leadership skills and a commitment to long-term career growth with our company.
As the Office Manager, you will manage daily office operations and ensure a productive work environment, leveraging your integrity, problem-solving abilities, and proven management success to support our team and maintain an efficient workplace.
Excellent organizational and communication skills are essential for this role.
Your Responsibilities
- Utilize proficiency in office software to multitask and prioritize while overseeing day-to-day operations, office supplies, equipment, and coordinating activities.
- Leverage strong written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with employees, clients, and vendors.
- Identify and resolve issues related to office operations, facilities, or staff, and independently implement policies and drive process improvements.
- Plan, organize, and coordinate office projects and events, including moves, technology upgrades, and special functions, while managing timelines and deliverables.
- Prepare and process leadership expenses, manage invoicing, accounts receivable, and accounts payable, and ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
- Assist with preparing client proposals and bids, process client contracts, and prepare various reports as needed.
Your Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience preferred.
- Previous experience in a digital media / advertising setting is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in computer skills including MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) and Teams.
- Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication abilities.
- Demonstrated capability to manage priorities, tasks, and meet deadlines effectively.
- Adaptability to handle responsibilities within a fast-paced advertising environment.
The salary range for this role is $60,000-$70,000 per year. Compensation is determined during our interview process by assessing a candidate's experience and skills relative to internal peers and market benchmarks evaluated for the scope and responsibilities of the position.
