Position Overview

Develop sales strategies and technicaldeployments of Siemens EDA ICVS technologies in designing and verifying complexASIC & FPGA designs for the most advanced Aerospace and Defense companies.

This position brings the technical role to the Americas' Account team, based inthe Los Angeles region of California. As a Functional Verification ApplicationEngineer, you will be part of a team comprising of Account Manager, TechnicalAccount Manager, Account Technology Manager, Product Engineers, and ProductSpecialists, contributing to increasing the deployment and adoption ofFunctional Verification products within North American customers, and developingnew customers.

Responsibilitiesinclude, but are not limited to the following activities

• Providingtechnical leadership for all ICVS technologies and solutions, contributingtowards the execution of the pre / post sales strategy established by the accountteam.
• Uncovering,qualifying, and executing functional verification opportunities.
• Articulatingcustomers’ technical requirements and influencing product engineering to shapeproduct direction.
• Developingtechnical presentations, conducting demonstrations, evaluations, andbenchmarks.
• Effectivelycommunicating how Siemens EDA solutions will solve the customer’s problems.
• Buildingand maintaining ongoing positive relationships with customers.
• Workingcollaboratively with team members to ensure mutual success.
• Mentorand / or coach other junior AEs on the team.

Job Qualifications

• Advancedknowledge of the IC design process, including EDA tool categories and vendorofferings
• BSEE,BSCS or related engineering discipline plus 7+ years of experience in the EDA,or Semiconductor field.
• MSEE,MSCS, or related engineering discipline plus 5+ years of experience in EDA, orSemiconductor field.
• Astrong understanding of Design and Verification concepts in ASIC & FPGAflow is required.
• Expertin Advanced Verification methodologies & environments is essential.
• Expertin coding with Verilog / VHDL / SystemVerilog, UVM, PSL / SVA is mandatory.
• Experiencewith Verification IP, Formal & Emulation technology is a plus.
• Goodpresentation and communication skills are essential.
• Self-motivatedand self-disciplined.
• Priorleadership roles or experiences are essential.
• USCitizenship is mandatory.

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements

• Rolewill be hybrid based out of El Segundo, CA.
• Willsupport discussions in various time zones, so virtual meetings outside of the hometime zone will be necessary.
• Travelrequired to support customer engagements : 50%

The total cash compensation range for this position is$135,700 to $271,400 with 20% of this being comprised of an annual incentive target.

The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate’s worklocation as well as additional factors, including job-related skills,experience, and relevant education / training.
