Facilities Maintenance Engineer

Position Summary :
The position ensures that all building maintenance and repair requirements are met. Responsible for preventative and emergency maintenance and repairs to the building utilities, mechanical, HVAC and plumbing systems.
Ensure work is compliant with all codes, cGMP, and company requirements.
Position Responsibilities :
Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, document
The facility has various types of building equipment, controls, infrastructure, and automation including but not limited to : Chillers, boilers, heat pumps, make up air and exhaust fans, cooling towers, air compressors, steam condensate receivers and traps, pneumatic systems, plumbing, industrial RO water systems, electrical, and mechanical.
The position is responsible for maintaining, repairing, troubleshooting, and servicing the above-mentioned equipment and areas.
- Operate and utilize the Building Automation System to maximize energy efficiency and employee comfort
- Perform rounds and complete equipment logs accurately following data integrity and good manufacturing procedure
- Perform preventive maintenance and respond to work requests in a timely manner
- Complete and close-out work orders accurately and on time using maintenance management software system
- Chemical water treatment and testing
- Ability to interpret and follow blueprints, manuals, and procedures
- Assist with the responsible ordering of parts / equipment
- Emergency on-call response (rotating frequency with team)
- Provide and communicate studies, data, information on above mentioned equipment and systems as requested
- Responds in support of overall building needs, requests, issues, leaks, temp. adjustments, etc.
Contractors and 3
party services
- Assist with coordinating and working with contractors if needed
- Ensure all contractors are compliant with safety program requirements
Maintain effective working relationships, take ownership and accountability for self and team environment.

- Interacts with management, production, and maintenance personnel
- Respond to emergency power outages following protocol
- Participate on project and safety teams as requested
- Strict adherence to safety protocol, PPE, and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
High School or Equivalent with required license / certification
1-5 years of experience
MN 2C boilers license / Universal CFC Certification
Competent computer skills, Microsoft office suite
Ability to work outside, inside, and on roof
Knowledge of Building Automation Systems (BAS) and Preventive Maintenance Software
Work autonomously with little direction
Ability to ascend / descend ladders
Ability to be trained on and operate man-lifts
Communicates effectively, candid, fair, honest
Works well with others in a diverse team environment
Ability to lift 50 lbs. and perform work using proper ergonomic and safe methods
The anticipated hourly rate for this position is $19.25 / hour to $33.75 / hour. Exact hourly rate depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget.
Salary range many vary based on geographic location. In addition to hourly rate, this position may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
