Job Summary : Operate Amada punches and Laser as the department lead needs. Break parts out of the blank between runs. After training be able to set up and maintain punches and laser.

Reports to : Laser Department / Production Lead

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Operate, calibrate and maintain laser and multiple punches as required by department lead.
• Break out parts in between automated machine production runs.
• Use "Fabrivision" to check first piece production runs.
• Ensure quality of work as required.
• Read venires or be willing and able to learn.
• Will move between multiple machines and break out area often.
• Must be able to work extended hours when required.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment, complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
• Lift 50lbs regularly.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :

• Must be honest, reliable and conscientious.
• Use calipers and other measuring devices.
• Task requires comprehension of high school math, reading, and writing skills.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs regularly.
• Must be knowledgeable of metal fabrication machinery.
• Must be able to work well with others.
• Must be able to read and understand Fabrication blue prints and Machining blue prints including Basic GD&T. (As applicable).
• Tasks require walking, bending, climbing, lifting and standing.
• Tasks require the use of hand tools, instruments, materials and machines.
• Tasks require visual inspection and reading measurement tools and instruments.
• Tasks require flexibility and adaptability at a rapid pace.
• Experience operating punches and laser preferred
