Warehouse Manager

Title : Warehouse Manager

Reports to : Director of Operations

Based at : Mucci Pac USA, San Antonio Texas, USA

Type of Employment : Full time, permanent, 6-7 days a week (as required); which include Saturdays, depending on workload and priorities.

Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities :

• Manage the daily operations of a produce warehouse which include production, quality, receiving and shipping.
• Maintain focus on productivity, cost control, efficiencies and production equipment improvements.
• Monitor, evaluate and report KPIs to Senior Management.
• Monitor and enforce warehouse food safety, health and safety, and security programs and activities.
• Monitor and enforce company policies, procedures, and applicable industry policies and regulations.
• Develop constructive and cooperative working relationships.
• Problem solve, negotiate, and address staff challenges.
• Ensure all production orders are shipped to customers in a timely manner in adherence to company quality standards.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in an operations managerial role.
• Knowledge of warehouse and inventory management.
• Must have strong time management skills with emphasis on meeting deadlines.
• Highly energetic and assertive with strong leadership skills.
• Experience in leading and managing a team.
• Excellent, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Famous and RedLine Cooler Software experience an asset, however, not a requirement.
• MS (Excel) office skills.

Physical Abilities :

• Must be able to sit, stand, and / or walk for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to bend, stretch, twist, or reach with body, arms, and / or legs.
• Must be able to lift material regularly up to 14 kg / 30 lbs; and occasionally up to 23 kg / 50lbs.
• Must be able to climb stairs and stand on feet for an extended period of time.
• Must be able to work in a temperature-controlled environment of approximately 13 C / 55 F.
