Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to create a loyal customer base.
- Presents and explains insurance policy options based on client needs and personal goals.
- Prospects for new business are generated from referrals, networking , and other lead sources.
- Treat each customer contact as a cross and up-sell opportunity including financial products.
- In everyday operations, use computer systems to process premium payments, review and update policies, handle claims, and make endorsements.
- Ensure consistent and prompt communication with clients to address their needs and concerns to ensure retention standards.
- Assist clients in navigating their insurance policies and answering any questions they may have.
Requirement
- 5+ years in the insurance industry with current P&C license REQUIRED. Multi-Lines license a plus.
- Efficiently manage multiple client inquiries , tasks, and administrative responsibilities simultaneously, maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail.
- Candidate must have basic computer software knowledge . This includes being proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Agency Management System (AMS) is a BONUS.
- Ambitious self-starter who can work independently to hit targets and prioritize tasks throughout the day.
- Effectively communicate complex insurance concepts and policy details to clients in a clear, understandable, and client-friendly manner, ensuring they make well-informed decisions.
- Demonstrate professionalism over the phone, in writing, and in the office to create a positive work environment and ensure effective communication.
