They are looking for a project manager to join their growing team.

Client Details

My client is a full-service Multifamily Development, Construction, and Management team based in Indianapolis, Indiana. There team works in unison to entitle, develop, build, and manage multifamily apartment projects across the country.

The client has completed over 50 projects across 17 different states.

Description

Manage all phases of commercial construction projects in Indianapolis, from initiation to closeout, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards

Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors to define project scope, objectives, and requirements

Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets, and track progress against key milestones

Procure necessary materials, equipment, and resources, and manage subcontractor relationships effectively

Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor work progress, safety, and quality compliance, and address any issues or concerns

Proactively identify and mitigate project risks, resolve conflicts, and manage change orders

Maintain clear and open communication with project team members and stakeholders, providing regular updates and reports as required

Ensure compliance with relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards throughout the project lifecycle

Prepare and submit project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, and closeout documents, in a timely manner

Profile

  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years of experience in Construction, experience managing multiple projects at a time
  • Multifamily project experience
  • Working knowledge of skilled trades including carpentry, masonry, concrete work, site excavation and grading, plumbing, fire protection, HVAC, and electrical.
  • Working knowledge of commercial construction technology and details. Candidate must be extremely proficient reviewing and understanding all construction documents including specifications and drawings
  • Excellent communication skills with various parties including management, subcontractors, consultants, architects, vendors, and clients.
