Great! We’re looking for top talent to grow with our firm. Responsibilities What you'll be challenged to do : BCE Engineers, Inc, now a division of TranSystems Corporation, is a mechanical, electrical, low voltage, and life safety firm located in Fife, WA.

Our engineers enjoy working on a diverse range of projects in a variety of sectors, including schools, military, healthcare, municipal, institutional, commercial, and multi-family residential.
This job is located in Fife, Washington. Primary Responsibilities : Design and model building and site power systems. Design and model building and site lighting systems.
Size, coordinate, and specify lighting fixtures and electrical distribution equipment. Calculate and analyze electrical loads.
Perform lighting calculations to ensure adequate light distribution and energy-efficient design. Provide design support in AutoCAD, Revit, and Bluebeam.
Attend meetings with the project team, including architects and other engineering disciplines. Ensure electrical design complies with electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
Prepare documentation for permit applications and agency review. Perform site visits and write field reports. Assist project managers to troubleshoot design and construction challenges.
Qualifications What you bring to our firm : Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering Ability to work collaboratively with a team Excellent attention to detail Authorization to work in the United States (required) Actively engages multiple perspectives when solving problems, seeks to learn from peers, and encourages reciprocal learning among team members.
What we’d prefer for you to bring to our firm : Understanding of, and experience in, the A / E / C industry preferred Experience with Revit MEP, AutoCad, Microsoft Word and Excel is preferred Featured Benefits : Hybrid (in-person and remote) work environment.

This compensation range is specific to the State of Washington and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets;
experience and training; internal peer equity; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.
The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.
At TranSystems, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
A reasonable estimate of the starting salary begins around $70,000-$105,000 a year.
