Overview

Nationally ranked Riley Children's Health is seeking a Pediatric Palliative Care physician to deliver compassionate care across the continuum in the inpatient, outpatient, and home settings for Indiana children and families.

Job Summary : interdisciplinary consult-based medical team of physicians, advanced-practice providers, nurses, and social workers who are dedicated to the mission of helping patients achieve quality of life, and providing support / resources to families

  • Physicians are provided administrative weeks to focus on professional development and academic efforts

  • Highly skilled Pediatric Palliative Care team that honors the spirit of compassion, empathy, patience and presence as key interventions
  • Clinician Educator Faculty appointment with Indiana University School of Medicine; participation in medical student, resident, and palliative care fellow training
  • Approximately 75% inpatient, 25% outpatient and academic / admin
  • Call shared equally among providers
  • Training Stipend potential for qualified applicants

Qualifications

  • Completion of ABMS Pediatric residency and Pediatric Palliative Care fellowship
  • BC in Pediatrics and BC / BE Pediatric Hospice and Palliative Care Medicine
  • New graduates and experienced providers are encouraged to apply
  • Physician MD / DO licensed in Indiana or eligible for medical licensure
