We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team. We seek an innovative, creative, and proactive individual who enjoys working in a team environment but also excels at working independently.
This position is responsible for ensuring that all customer accounts reflect charges and payments accurately and promptly.
Responsibilities :
Complete month-end close procedures.
Post payments, maintain customer accounts, and record adjustments through the current ERP system.
Perform daily cash management duties.
Maintain accounts receivable to ensure aging is up to date.
Enter customer cash refunds into the current ERP system.
Manage price increase adjustments and contract rate maintenance.
Produce daily reports, monthly invoices, and mid-month statements.
Respond to accounts receivable customer emails.
Manage customer credit account applications.
Maintain a filing system of processed AR documentation.
Perform other responsibilities as needed by the Corporate Accounts Receivable team.
Experience :
2+ years of prior accounting experience preferred.
Prior experience with an A / R and G / L integrated software system is advantageous.
Must possess a good understanding of basic accounting principles.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational skills.
Self-motivated and detail-oriented.
