Position Summary Multiple temporary hourly-intermittent Artists' Figure Model positions available in the Art department.
Start Date Position available on or after February 11, 2024 and ending on or before May 31, 2024. Possibility of reappointment based on budget, department needs, and job performance.
Job Description / Duties Duties include but are not limited to : Serve complete modeling sessions as required by faculty member.
Modeling is done primarily undraped (nude) in a professional and caring environment.Modeling sessions take place in an art studio / class setting with 18 to 24 students.
Paints, paint solvents, clay and other art materials will be in use during modeling sessions.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Preferred Qualifications : Demonstrates ability to stand and / or sit for long periods of time.Demonstrates ability to hold a stance for several minutes at a time without moving.
Demonstrates punctuality and reliability.Demonstrates ability to follow directionDemonstrates a professional work ethic.
Required Qualifications :
Undergraduate students must be registered / enrolled in a minimum of six (6) Fall / Spring units.Post-baccalaureate students in a graduate program must be registered in a minimum of four (4) Fall / Spring units.
Must be 18 years of age or older. Salary Range $20.00 per hour
