Nights 7 : 00 PM - 7 : 00 AM (Full Time Weekender - 0.9 FTE & Part Time - 0.6 FTE available!)

This position works every 3rd weekend and holiday.

Shift & Weekend Differential Available!

Weekend package is 1.5x pay!

$10,000.00 Sign-On Bonus for 0.8 FTE or higher positions!

Responsibilities

• The MICU is 12-bed unit caring for acutely ill medical patients and the SICU is an 8-bed unit caring for acutely ill surgical patients.
• Nurses are trained to interpert dyshyrhmias, balloon pumps, Impellas, CRRT, etc, and are involved in miscellaneous bedside procedures.
• In the SICU, the nurses will be required to undergo extensive training in the recovery and care of an immediate post-op open heart patient.

A variety of trauma, thorasic, vascular and abdominal surgey cases are also managed.

• Both units have cotinuous bedside monitoring in all patient rooms to faciliatate accurate and close monitoring.
• Nurses also manage vasoactive medications for blood pressure issues along with sedtion for those who are ventilated.
• Nurse patient ratio is 1 : 2 and varies some depending on acuity.
• Annual educationa nd compenticy is provided.

Qualifications

Education :

Diploma from an RN program.

License(s) / Certification(s) :

• Current licensure in good standing to practice as a Registered Nurse in primary state.
• Must apply within 90 days for licensure in secondary state.
• Must possess and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Within 6 months of hire, must acquire and maintain current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Must maintain annual unit specific educational requirements as specific educational requirements as specified by Nurse Manager.
