POSITION OVERVIEW
Responsible for routine warehouse duties at Silver Bell Mining, L.L.C.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Knowledge of SAP database software.
- Process warehouse issues.
- Perform physical inventory counts and stock adjustments of all warehouse stock items.
- Identify, confirm, and receive all incoming materials.
- Unload freight using forklift.
- Identify part number corrections, changes, or additions.
- Assist personnel with the location and identification of parts.
- Ensure that stock shelves are maintained in a neat and orderly condition.
- Ensure that warehouse, yards and outbuildings are maintained in a neat and orderly condition.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Must be able to operate a forklift.
- Must demonstrate the highest commitment to health and safety.
- Must demonstrate the highest commitment to environmental compliance.
- Must have excellent computer skills with Microsoft Office and SAP.
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to manage time effectively and set priorities.
- Requires the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Knowledge of DOT rules and regulations regarding maximum truck weights.
- DOT HazMat Training (Company will provide).
- Must be able to stand, sit and walk over rough terrain, work outdoors in all types of weather conditions, bend, climb ladders / stairs and lift 50 pounds occasionally.
EDUCATION AND / OR EXPERIENCE
- High School or General Education Diploma.
- Requires one (1) year warehouse experience (preferred).
ENVIRONMENTAL, HEALTH & SAFETY
- The job requires training or instruction in the area of environmental Awareness.
- This job requires training or instruction in the area of Safety & Health awareness including completion of the appropriate OSHA and / or MSHA training.
