We're looking for a Senior Director of North America ("NA") Agency Sales to lead our monetization efforts in the region. Reporting to our Vice President / Head of Global Agency Sales, you'll be responsible for setting forth the overall sales strategy for the NA agency markets and working closely with cross-functional partners to drive revenue growth for our agency business across verticals. You'll develop the teams as we establish our presence and drive fast growth of our ads business in this region. This leader will be tasked with developing and executing a NA-wide growth plan, aligning scalable resourcing plans with partner teams, as well as a wide range of general management responsibilities.

This is a full-time position based in New York .

What you'll do :

  • Lead our agency strategy and execution for the existing portfolio of NA agency business at Pinterest
  • Drive a high performing team culture to inspire the management and ICs to see themselves as part of the global sales organization, implementing a clear top down strategy supported by strong operational rigor
  • In partnership with the commercial deals team, drive agency deal strategy activation and overall strategic partnership development to accelerate growth
  • Develop market and competitive assessments to identify and drive new growth opportunities for Pinterest in the region with agencies
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to develop strategies and initiatives that enable Pinterest to win in the NA market by meeting agency marketing objectives, scaling agency media investment, and creating meaningful and sustainable revenue growth
  • Work closely with the global agency commercial teams and VP sales leaders on agency deal strategy by vertical
  • Establish and develop relationships with key executive decision-makers of agencies and industry associations in the region
  • Manage and develop a team of currently 20 experienced agency leads with 4 managers reporting directly to you
  • Partner closely with Sales Operations and Measurement teams to analyze data trends and client performance, as to scale shared learnings and best practices to grow client's business through Pinterest solutions
  • Act as an external spokesperson and evangelize our brand in the region
  • Consult with Product Marketing, Ad Product, Performance Solutions, Insights, Measurement, Creative Strategy, Sales, Training, Marketing and PR teams to influence product development and support
  • Collaborate with vertical VP sales leaders to inform and influence NA wide strategies and operations for agencies

What we're looking for :

  • 15+ years of experience in the digital media industry with 10+ years of management experience including managing managers
  • Bachelor's degree in business, advertising or marketing, a related field or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrated success as an executive leader, fostering team achievements across revenue and agency strategy, sales operations and productivity, and building strong industry partnerships.
  • Deep understanding and established network in the agency & digital advertising industry in North America
  • Strong leadership skills that inspire, drive urgency and challenge agency teams to think big and drive transformational thinking to advance team performance, health, and an inclusive culture. Inspire the team to understand the opportunity that exists with agencies being a critical sales lever for Pinterest.
  • Strong understanding of holistic full funnel advertising, how to leverage performance strategies, data, and measurement landscapes, with demonstrated experience using data-driven insights and trends to develop winning strategies resulting in driving revenue growth for Pinterest
  • Strong focus on operational excellence by having introduced new advertiser and agency performance measures, processes, and systems that will scale ability to drive sustained revenue via the agency channel
  • Outstanding GTM strategy and operational rigor for the successful execution of the holistic NA agency strategy
  • Strong CXFN partnership to drive discussions with the product and engineering teams driving alignment. Translating business needs into the roadmap. Have opinions about the technology trade-offs
  • Strong influencing skills to build and direct agency priorities and decisions across the organization
  • Outstanding communication skills with the ability to translate insights, product information, and data into solutions for agency partners
  • Demonstrated ability to excel in a multi-layered, ambiguous environment and incubating new businesses

    We let the type of work you do guide the collaboration style. That means we're not always working in an office, but we continue to gather for key moments of collaboration and connection. This role will need to be in the office for in-person collaboration at least one day per week and therefore needs to be in a commutable distance from the Pinterest New York office.

Final salary is based on a number of factors including location, travel, relevant prior experience, or particular skills and expertise.
