Job Summary :
The Inspector / Packer is responsible for inspecting, weighing, packaging, and sorting defective medical molded plastic components.&
This position requires excellent manual dexterity, attention to detail, and the ability to follow procedures while maintaining cleanliness in a clean room environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Inspect, weigh, and package medical molded plastic components.
- Sort out defective products and ensure quality through visual inspection using magnification tools.
- Manually assemble small parts using hand tools, fixtures, or equipment.
- Maintain a clean work area and follow clean room procedures.
- Complete production records and work order documentation accurately.
- Weigh, count, package, and label finished products.
Required Qualifications :
- Ability to read and understand procedures and production documentation.
- Good hand / eye coordination for manual assembly of small components.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Experience with inventory management systems is desirable.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Must be 18 years of age.
Preferred Qualifications :
Previous experience in a similar role is desirable.
Physical Requirements and Work Environment :
- Work is performed in a clean room environment.
- Must be able to sit or stand for long periods depending on the assigned machine.
- Ability to operate a computer or touchscreen for entering work order data.
- Must be able to occasionally move and lift objects up to 25 lbs.
