Job Summary :

Destiny Healthcare Services in Westchester, Illinois is seeking a skilled Home Care Scheduler to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have experience in scheduling and coordinating home health care services for clients.

This individual contributor role is full-time and offers a competitive salary of $17.5 to $18.5 per hour, paid semimonthly.

Responsibilities :

• Schedule and coordinate client home care services, including caregiver visits and CNAs.
• Ensure accurate and timely scheduling of services according to client needs and insurance coverage
• Communicate and collaborate with clients, caregivers, and healthcare providers to ensure efficient and effective scheduling
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in scheduling software
• Monitor and track staff hours and schedules to ensure proper coverage for all clients
• Coordinate with the billing department to ensure the accuracy of services rendered and billed
• Proactively identify and address any potential scheduling conflicts or issues
• Participate in meetings and training to stay informed of industry changes and updates
• Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and maintain the confidentiality of client information
• Perform other administrative tasks as assigned by the supervisor

Requirements :

• High School Diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor's degree preferred
• Previous experience in home care scheduling is strongly preferred
• Strong computer skills and experience with scheduling software
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and confidentiality requirements
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Available to work full-time and potentially some weekend hours if needed
• Bilingual (Spanish / English) required.
