Job Description :
Are you a passionate healthcare professional looking for a rewarding career? Our client is seeking a dedicated Phlebotomist / Patient Services Representative II to join our team.
As a PSR II, you'll play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care by accurately collecting blood samples for laboratory testing.
Key Responsibilities :
- Patient Interaction : Build strong relationships with patients, creating a comfortable and trusting environment.
- Specimen Collection : Draw blood samples efficiently and safely, following established procedures.
- Data Entry : Accurately record patient information and specimen details.
- Quality Assurance : Ensure the integrity of collected samples and adherence to quality standards.
- Customer Service : Provide excellent customer service, addressing patient questions and concerns.
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred
- Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in California, Nevada, and Washington)
- Minimum 3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a Patient Service Center environment preferred
- Strong customer service skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
