Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Quality Control Specialist to join our RWD team. This role involves ensuring the accuracy and integrity of healthcare data, developing Python scripts to automate data quality checks, and utilizing Airflow for workflow management.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive data quality assessments and validations.
- Develop and maintain Python scripts to automate quality checks on healthcare data.
- Utilize Apache Airflow to design, implement, and monitor data pipelines.
- Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and other stakeholders to identify and resolve data quality issues.
- Document data quality processes and maintain detailed records of data validation activities.
- Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging technologies in data quality management.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in data quality control, preferably in the healthcare sector.
- Proficiency in Python for data manipulation and automation.
- Experience with Apache Airflow or similar workflow management tools.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Skills :
- Knowledge of healthcare data standards and regulations (e.g., HIPAA).
- Experience with other data analysis tools and technologies (e.g., SQL, R).
- Experience with Redshift DBMS.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $85,000 - $110,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained.
In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
