Kelly is seeking a Temporary Tax Accounting Associate to work with our client, a leader in the biotech industry, at their Santa Clara location on a temporary basis for 4 months.

The Temporary Tax Accounting Associate will assist with at least two clean-up / digitalization projects in the indirect tax department.

Specifically, this role will :

• Support development of customers’ tax exemption certificates database including performing review of each document and input data as instructed
• Support sales tax helpdesk to resolve ongoing and backlogged tax issues related to customer invoices and accounts as instructed
• Support other tax projects as required Qualifications :
• Proficient in Excel including use of Pivot tables and lookup functions
• Prior work experience in accounting, finance, or tax preferred but not required
• Experience working in a corporate environment
• Ability to handle large volumes of detailed, repetitive tasks, including reviewing thousands of documents, with accuracy and attention to detail
