We are hiring for an Jr Recruiter for our downtown corporate office. This entry level person will have the opportunity to work with and learn from Senior Recruiters.
This is an excellent foot-in-the-door position for Human Resources. This is a 4 day per week in the office position.
Summary of position :
This position is responsible for non-exempt internal & external corporate sourcing, screening, and hiring.
Responsibilities :
- Screens resumes / applications and conducts job interviews by phone and / or video to identify qualified candidates; refers qualified candidates to hiring manager.
- Facilitates job assessments and background checks in accordance with company policy.
- Maintains accurate and compliant recruiting-related activities and records utilizing the company’s Applicant Tracking System.
- Successfully guides those involved in the interviewing and hiring process to follow established protocols / procedures and avoid legal pitfalls.
- May assist with building candidate sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites;
providing organization information and opportunities; maintaining rapport.
Performs administrative duties and projects as assigned.
Requirements :
- Outgoing personality with ability to quickly establish rapport; must have confidence in using video conferencing to perform job duties.
- Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook including scheduling features.
- Previous experience in Human Resources or staffing using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) a plus.
- Excellent oral and written skills.
- Flexible and adaptable.
- Well organized, self-motivated, and confident to work independently.
