The Civil Construction Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing heavy civil construction projects from inception to completion.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in civil construction, specifically in managing large-scale, complex infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Plan, coordinate, and manage all phases of heavy civil construction projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Lead project teams, including engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders, to achieve project goals.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely procurement of materials and equipment.
  • Monitor project progress and make adjustments as needed to address any issues or delays.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, quality standards, and environmental requirements.
  • Prepare and present regular project reports to senior management and clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, government agencies, and other stakeholders.
  • Negotiate contracts and change orders, ensuring fair and equitable terms.
  • Manage project documentation, including contracts, permits, and regulatory approvals.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil construction project management, with a focus on heavy civil projects.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry standards.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project).
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
