JOB SUMMARY :
We are seeking a Claims Support Specialist to assist and support the claims staff in the set-up and administration of workers' compensation claims / case management.
The role may also involve other tasks depending on the specific needs of our customers.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Set up new claims
- Process mail, handle files, and input notes / diary entries in the claims system
- Assist with processing payments, form letters, state forms, and reports
- Support claims examiners with telephone calls
- Other duties as required
REQUIREMENTS :
- High school diploma, college degree preferred
- Minimum of six months of service-oriented office experience preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- PC literate, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong organizational skills
PAY RANGE :
$14.00 - $22.36 per hour
