Primary Responsibilities

In the role of Project Manager-Water / Wastewater, we'll count on you to :

• Plan, direct and monitor all aspects of multidiscipline Water / Wastewater related project
• Produce and coordinate several projects concurrently
• Establish client relations and be involved with marketing, contractual, design and production meeting
• Coordinate staffing and workload through entire project development to complete documents on schedule
• Track financial aspects of projects, and coordinate and adjust work efforts with project team to ensure that the work is completed within the agreed-upon budget
• Work with the Business / Accounting Manager, Project Controller or Company Controller and Department Manager or Managing Principal for project review
• Implement QA / QC procedure
• Supervise project staff and serve as a mentor to less experienced engineer
• Perform other duties as needed

Preferred Qualifications :

• Project management, including complex water / wastewater projects including condition assessments, planning and design of collection systems, distribution systems and / or treatment plant projects.
• Client relationships in the NY marketplace.
• Candidates who reside locally in the Syracuse or Buffalo area are preferred.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering
• 7 years related experience
• A minimum 2 years project management experience
• Professional Engineer (PE) license
• MS Office and MS Project experience is required (Access experience would be plus)
• Demonstrated leadership skills
• An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
