Position Summary / Purpose of Position : Under the general direction of the Executive Director of FM-Facilities Business Operations, the Motor Transportation Services (MTS) Manager, is responsible for the leadership, vision, operations, customer service and personnel management of the unit.
The MTS Manager oversees the two key departments of the unit vehicle repairs and fleet services with a focus on improving customer service and operational efficiencies.
The MTS Manager also works with staff outside of the unit to contribute to campus initiatives and assist with problem solving as it relates to university vehicle management.

Education :
Bachelor’s degree is required.
Experience :
- Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the management of a motor transportation operation, preferably in a public sector organization.
- At least three (3) years of experience in a supervisory capacity.
- Experience in the provision of excellent customer service; in the management of a self-supporting organization; including budget;
in the management of a large institutional fleet; the management of a vehicle maintenance and repair facility.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :
- Ability to manage an organizational fleet, work with a varied customer base, manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, work independently, and organize workflow.
- Present ideas clearly and concisely both orally and in writing.
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair requirements and procedures.

The hiring range for this position is $96,240 $120,300.
