LHH partnered with a local company to recruit for a Legal Billing Specialist in Emeryville, CA.
Location : Emeryville, CA
Hybrid : 3 days in the office per week
Salary Range : $58,000 - $80,000 DOE
Key Responsibilities :
Create client invoices for standard, electronic, and intricate billing setups.
Perform thorough daily evaluations of client contracts and initiate matter setups upon case activation.
Input, edit, customize, and process client invoices according to contract specifications.
Conduct detailed analysis, tracking, and reporting of Work In Progress (WIP).
Monitor, follow up on, and report the progress of multiple assignments.
Provide training and support to other billing staff as needed once fully trained.
Required Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree preferred.
A minimum of 5 years of comprehensive billing experience in professional services or a law firm.
Strong skills with 10-key, and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Experience with Workday or Elite 3E is mandatory.
E-billing experience, especially with E-Billing HUB, is highly preferred.
Experience with international multi-currency billing is advantageous.
Bankruptcy experience is a plus.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Exceptional organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and strong follow-up capabilities.
Ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and meet deadlines.
Capable of managing multiple tasks and projects with competing deadlines.
Consistent attendance and reliability are essential.
Strong dedication to providing high-quality customer service to both internal and external clients.
