Job Description :
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated caregiver to provide support for a 42-year-old female with intellectual disabilities.
The ideal candidate will have experience in caring for individuals with similar needs.
Responsibilities :
- Provide supervision and transportation during community outings and activities.
- Assist with meal preparation.
- Accompany and support the client during community exercise programs.
- Attend classes at the Center for Independent Living with the client, providing necessary assistance.
- Support the client in communicating effectively, using gestures and simple sentences.
- Supervise and assist the client with walking and mobility to ensure safety.
Requirements :
- Experience in caregiving, particularly with individuals who have intellectual disabilities.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to understand and respond to non-verbal cues and simple verbal communication.
- Ability to prepare simple, nutritious meals.
- Physical ability to assist with mobility and provide supervision during walking and exercise.
- Reliable transportation to accompany the client to various locations.
- Must pass Level 2 Background Check. Schedule :
